In a small Italian town Pisa stands a unique and very famous ‘Leaning Tower of Pisa’
Yes, it leaned due to unstable soft ground which doesn’t hold the weight of this Tower makes this bell tower behind the Pisa cathedral a true WoW (Wonder of World)
We got down at the Pisa train station and a local bus took us to the site, built in 13th century, the entire Pisa cathedral site is a piece of architectural excellence.
Despite surviving multiple earthquakes and unstable soil beneath, this freestanding tower is an exemplary evidence of Civil engineering back in 13th century.
It’s an amazing site to capture fun pictures of trying to mend the tilt. One can actually climb the top of this Tower by taking stairs and enjoy the panorama of the town with beautiful mountains landscaping the scenic view.
If you are in Italy, this is unmissable and will envision the image you carry from your school books.
