This has happened for the very first time in 72 years, since the first Indian touring in Australia.
Virat Kohli the winning Captain led the Men in Blue to this astonishing outcome.
Cheteshwar Pujara the test match specialist was awarded Man of the Series for stupendous batting display as he scored 521 runs including 3 centuries in Adelaide, Melbourne & 193 in Sydney.
Overall it was a great team show and the spirit of zeal to win a series outside Indian Subcontinent made this rare feat possible. Special note to performances by Mayank Agrawal, Rishabh Pant and other youngsters and this series saw multiple records broken by both side (new highs for Indian team and new lows for the Aussies).
